Lia Rosen forzran from R. M. R. Obermenland near Bremer, on December 28, 1907.” At various times, Lia Rosen was a successful and popular actress in Vienna and Berlin. She also performed Yiddish plays in New York, and eventually emigrated to Tel Aviv, Israel, where she died. She had a close relationship with Rilke, who corresponded with her and dedicated two poems to her.
