Corn Close is the Cumbrian cottage where the poets Jonathan Williams and Thomas Meyer lived for over thirty years. Reuben Cox, a professional photographer and formerly on the faculty of Cooper Union, is the author of The Work of Joe Webb: Appalachian Master of Rustic Architecture (Jargon Society, 2009). Corn Close has been published in an edition of 500 copies designed by Jonathan Greene. There are two issues: a regular edition of 450 copies, and a deluxe edition limited to 50 copies signed by Cox, Meyer, Midgette, Greene and Jaffe, accompanied by an original photograph signed by the photographer, in dust jacket and publisher’s slipcase. The regular edition is $35.00, the deluxe edition $250.00.
